How to use Compress PDF

- Try lossless mode first. Raster mode uses the resolution and quality selectors. An optional MB target is checked against actual output bytes. Page numbers start at 1.

Formats and privacy
PDF input is validated by its file signature and parser. This tool runs in your browser. Document contents are not uploaded to MyDocverter or sent to a conversion service. Standard hosting access logs can still record page visits and IP addresses.

Yes. No account, payment or subscription is needed.
Why was my file rejected?
Encrypted, malformed or oversized files may not be supported. The job limit is 50 MB and 300 PDF pages; rendering is limited to 100 pages to reduce browser memory use. These are resource safeguards.
Will the result preserve everything?
Raster mode removes searchable text, links and forms. Target size is best-effort; an existing optimized PDF may not shrink. Rewriting signed documents can invalidate their signatures. Check the final file before sharing.
